Hello, my name is Travis Ruso Milton and I am a published Urban author residing in the great state of Oklahoma. In addition to being a writer, I am a honored Veteran of the United States Army, father of four beautiful children, grandfather of the most precious and amazing granddaughter, and husband to my stunning dream supporter and number one fan, wife. My educational background consists of compulsory and secondary training and numerous hours of volunteer work. I have partaken in mentor programs advocating for children without parents, and countless hours working with displaced youth in need of education, life skill training, and activities of daily living planning. Forthwith, I have three published books in circulation and available through the following platforms: Walmart Books, Amazon Books, and Barnes & Noble. I am slated to release two additional books in early 2021.
As a young boy living in Europe with my family, I recall the day I discovered the fascinating places I could travel when my pen met paper. By fate I discovered a talent, a skill, a craft that was in the making for exploration. I have often denoted to my writing as being the worst best thing that has ever happened to me. Writing allows me to manifest my creativity on a blank canvas for all to enjoy. It provides a safe place void of hypocrisy, profiling, vices, and conditional love. It is my world, my canvas, and I do not have to worry myself with humanities circumstances and sentiments being thrown at me. As an African American author, this feeling is invigorating and vitalizing. I meticulously relish each facet of writing, and will continue to do just that.

Bishop and the Bully is my current project near completion. With this book, my ambition is to shine light on the long and short term detriment that bullying causes to children in our school systems and society. I stalwartly accept as true, our children are our future and reading on the rise. School closures and issues with social distancing, educating children at home has shown an increase too. Given all these conditions, reading will contuine to increase my personal opinion.
